[Skunkworks] HTC M7 Microphone Issue

Morning Skunks, I have an M7 that suddenly developed an issue. Whenever I pick a call, the person on the other end can not hear me unless I use earphones or put it on speaker. Some forums point it to a software issue but I've tried everything suggested and nothing has worked. Any ideas? -- Regards, Fernandes Thuita.
