Hi guys. I told someone that this can be done, i just need confirmation. Here is the scenario. Someone needs to monitor his shop across the road via cctv from his house, so no cables will work. Is there a way wifi can be used?
wi-fi, I think only if the shop side has a static IP. Without that, perhaps he can arrange to have am application that runs as a service and send his the details of the IP address the terminal device has every few minutes. I don't know how the wifi assigns IP addresses and the length of the leases. Bandwidth on the wifi also matters for any meaningful video data.
