I am a total newbie to telecoms so please enlighten me on this method i am thinking of as a way to truly know the coverage of any network operator:
1. Each operator has a finite number of base stations.
2. The exact physical location of each base station is know and is static, i.e. BTS do not move around :-)
3. The effective radius of transmission of each BTS is also known
Therefore, assuming that operators do not share BTS's, the exact coverage of each operator can be mapped with an extremely high degree of accuracy and backed by facts.
Should an operator then say that they cover a certain area, a smart journalist/skunk can then proceed to ask them, "how can you cover area X while the nearest BTS is Y kilometres away, given that the maximum allowed radius of coverage of each BTS is Z kilometres"?
Are the above assumptions correct?
in the above mentioned areas, saf has the widest coverage, including
some quite remote locations in kitui near the kitui national reserves.
i have never seen an eneza vendor, guess it suffers from adoption
problems similar to zain jaza jaza
Could be an issue with their marketing strategy for all their products..They are not really felt by the consumers
Just wanted to know how many sites safcom have for the whole country...1000????
