You can also specify your win 2k8 box as your DMZ host in the router config..and again make sure its IP is not provided by DHCP.

am using none of the above. the issue is i can access my port 3030 or 8080 in my LAN but when i use the public IP to access the same am locked out. i do a port scan 3030 or 8080 on the router they are open and on the firewall they are allowed.
