They contribute nothing on the list and will be making lots of useless noise when people contribute. Its like having a classroom full of empty heads. When they see the teacher enter the classroom they will make funny faces while when asked to even solve a single sum they wont. A listserve is like a website and its worth is reatly measured by teh content and activity. Tahts why craiglist.com is useless in design but very much up there in rankings. When they pretend to make any meaningful contribution, they will use sideshows and veer much off the topic. You have seen that David do it in the other thread.
