Assuming they are, removing the 550ms from the overall latencies will improve services on any network. Also that the queues used to maintain QOS levels will have less buffering, less processing, better tcp streams. It may not be real broadband but the impact is good. 3g and 3g+ ( not yet on seacom ) are the only ones who can provide real mobile broadband. However, Zain has an option for unlimited monthly use so it may be cost effective. But for 3-4K a month, maybe I'd rather be talking to fixed wimax like zuku or access kenya or others. Depends on use, budget, coverage. HTHs. :-)
Am curious. Seeing as Zain doesnt have 3G, will it make much of a difference in terms of speeds whether they are on Seacom or not?
