Firstly... 30k is too much. Especially for kenya's first standard certification.... apart from our own suspicious degrees.

Secondly, it has a small-time name that sounds like its from an institution from river road.

Thirdly.... its should be based on a published spec., and have different levels of certification for different classes of IT professionals. U have web designers,  web-developers, database admins, system admins, mobile app developers, system analysts, system managers, desktop app developers... and they'll have varying levels of skills, and some specific levels of skills may be suitable for specific kinds of work..

... following the CCNA approach, or CPA.... and a more serious name, like 'certified kenyan software developer, level 1'... or with these counties, 'federally/nationally certified software developer, enterprise/level 3 developer'

And forthly.....
