DHL have introduced a concept called the Easy Shop designed at clients who'd like to do online purchase. It works as like this: -
1) Go to any DHL Service Center and register (in person). You'll be required to pay up Ksh. 2320 2) You'll get an account number and a US Address which you will use as the shipping address whenever you make online purchases. 3) Your merchandise will be sent to this address and you will be notified upon arrival and dispatch from the US. 4) The tariff charged is a minimum of Ksh 4118 +VAT for 1.5 KG and below. Thereafter you'll be charged Ksh. 500 for every half KG +VAT of course have to add the respective KRA Duties and Levies. 5) The items will then be cleared from customs according to procedure and delivered to the service center.
