How many guys have installed some miscellaneous IM software on phones and given the software their Gmail /Yahoo passwords in the name of mobile chat? Even that facebook feature of getting into your inbox to invite “friends” on your behalf is very suspect… Regards -- Eugene Lidede, CTO, Synergy Systems Limited. +254 721 476367 | +254 20 2113163 _________________________________________ http://live.mystocks.co.ke | Stay ahead of the market From: skunkworks-bounces@lists.my.co.ke [mailto:skunkworks-bounces@lists.my.co.ke] On Behalf Of Odhiambo ????? But the question is... how do we avoid becoming victims? Looking at the addresses in my address book, the last thing(s) I would want to see are emails from certain very respectable people in my address book asking me what *this* is all about. It can't be a worm, unless you guys want us to think like Windows LUsers. How does a worm get into your web-based address book, like in Yahoo/Gmail, etc? I've received the same type e-mails from a friend who says she never sent the e-mails at all, yet the e-mail was sent to everyone in her Yahoo address book. After that, I have also received same mail from one of the contacts that were in her address book - see the cycle? Now, with Yahoo account, that can't be a worm! -- Best regards, Odhiambo WASHINGTON, Nairobi,KE +254733744121/+254722743223 _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ "Clothes make the man.
