Hi Skunks,
I am just curious. Given that Airtel,YU and Orange have been cheaper than Safaricom for eons, why aren't we moving to their networks enmasse? Is it because we don't like saving pennies?
So, I'm doing a poll.
Two questions; why are you still on Safaricom?
Because I have their SIM card and I am very happy with them generally. I have been with them since they stopped charging 100,000 for those Sony Ericsson booths!
What would it take to lure you from Safaricom?
If you find a way to make them close shop.
Mobile phones are cheap -- very cheap, and SIM cards are almost free. Call rates are almost uniform, if you know how to choose. I don't see any possibility of anyone in their right minds getting lured, even by offering them FREE calls, they will still keep 2 (or more) SIM cards. In fact, if you offer them FREE calls, they will be very cautious "not to get caught" by "the catch" (if any). What I think: YU and AIRTEL are on their decline path, while ORANGE has not quite found their footing in the Voice/Data business. Safaricom found their footing long time ago. That is why noone is raising a finger when they say they are the "Better Option". There are options, but everyone wants to stay with the "Better". -- Best regards, Odhiambo WASHINGTON, Nairobi,KE +254733744121/+254722743223 _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ I can't hear you -- I'm using the scrambler.
