
Your client should cease to use e-mail. Should never have used it in the first place! That's what I tell folks, honestly. If someone doesn't see the importance of a password, they should never get closer to a service/facility that requires one. Then again, perhaps I should blame the person who trained your client on the use of computers and e-mail, because either s/he forgot to emphasize the basic security drills or they were equally clueless. My suggestion is you seek out the person who helped setup the mail account and you may get the clue you need. At least she can remember the person who helped her setup the e-mail account, no?
