In response to the query you have raised, we have realised that occassionally we have a delay with SMS reception from our partners. To mitigate this occurence we do have a solution which requires you to inform our butterfly contact center - on 0711-061000 or mail on butterflysupport@kdn.co.ke . You will be required to specify the number that you used to request for the code for verification.
After verification that indeed the request was made, we will provide you with a code for the amount requested..
Since we dont want to apportion blame on which provider did what, the important thing is to realise that this scenario can occur and get a solution for it as outlined above.
