To me Nokia has been the least responsive to consumer needs and wants. Nokia feels very distant to me.They dont listen to consumers. My brother finally accessed candy crush on his nokia device last night, it was not available before then. (how slow can you be?) I remember shopping for a nokia and it did not have whatsapp at the time! I used to be a Nokia diehard because it was (and probably still is, almost like lenovo computers hardware) the most rugged and sturdy hardware in the market(and im always dropping devices so nokias always survived the fall)However I have been forced to move to android due to the unresponsiveness, its unlikely I will go back.--On Thu, Jan 8, 2015 at 9:38 AM, Dennis Kioko via skunkworks <skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke> wrote:That ship has sailed. It is unlikely Nokia will ever make a mobile device.
The current Nokia tablet is made and owned by a Chinese company, which license the Nokia trademark and other patents from Nokia. Same way Alcatel OneTouch is made by a Chinese company and not by AlcatelLucent.Microsoft has exclusive rights for the Nokia trademark for 2 years on phone according to some sections of the Internet, it will be interesting if we see a competing device using the same trademark for the same period. And if we do, it will be some Chinese Original Device Manufacturer using the Nokia trademark. Why license the name? cause Nokia has an established reputation. It's easier to convince Chiteri to buy a "Nokia" tablet rather than the exact same tablet using the trade name "Li Juan".On Wed Jan 07 2015 at 17:58:27 Martin Akolo Chiteri via skunkworks <skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke> wrote:_______________________________________________Powered by Android: http://espresso.economist.com/e4be6c6ba41086a845f9a27dffd35245I for one would love to see an Android-based mobile handset from Nokia. Would quickly purchase one for the *solid* hardware they are known for if not for anything else.Martin.

Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate, but that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us.There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.As we let our own light shine, we consciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
