@James Nzomo dont get me wrong i am a programmer by birth and by practice. I actually found it easier to make my own CMS from scratch rather than learn joomla. It was good coding practice, and I have transfers some of the logic to a C# framework am using but all in all, I SHOULD NOT HAVE TRIED TO MAKE A CMS FROM SCRATCH. I overlooked a lot of things and frankly I think the websites I made are very hackable and defacable. out of respect to my former employer who is also on skunkworks i will not revel the URLs.
The biggest portion of your website is made using wordpress :-(
why dint you integrate blogging into your CMS.
Making a complete CMS is a team effort dude, programmers are not islands. On Wed, Feb 23, 2011 at 3:31 PM, Humphrey Ngoiya <hngoiya@yahoo.co.uk> wrote:
I built an entire CMS by myself in second year of campus. its used by more than 10 website to date. I will not disclose the names of the websites because they are easily hackable. you just need to look at the login module for joomla and see how many vulnerabilities you have not addressed. infact if you give me permission i can highlight some security issues with your website.
P.S
your http://www.sobbayi.com/ is a nice initiative. its nice to see there is a quorum of 3d application developers. On Wed, Feb 23, 2011 at 2:50 PM, Steve Obbayi <steve@sobbayi.com> wrote:
@HumphreyI I respect your opinions and I also know Adobe products are solid. Its hard competing with them, all
the best on your plugin.
BUT... I could not resist this one...

That idea is sic, I have heard it a lot on this on skunkworks and one I can tell you. I have built an entire
CMS called Mozqeeto from scratch its still in Alpha and am still working on it during my free time and doing it alone.
Maybe sometime in the future I will release it as open source and let others build plugins and themes. That's besides the point.
I built it as a challenge and to have better control of my products. The Engine is designed to run web apps but also works just fine for
websites.
Stop discouraging innovative people from doing what they love.
ps the CMS powers www.sobbayi.com
