It would be great to have average salary info for various IT positions be publicly available. Someone should run a survey and set up a website (salary.com but for Kenya). Businesses hiring in IT would definitely pay for the data. Would also benefit the overall sector to have this info be transparent to both employers and job seekers. Advertise for such a vacancy requiring at least 3 months experience, and ask applicants to state current remuneration:-)
