I would recommend building an android-based system yourself. Am currently doing this for my car and the results are spectacular so far. The pros of this approach;

- You can spec out the system with the best of the best (amps, woofer, mids, tweeters, cabling, eq, x-overs etc.)

- Android, especially with the right hardware, is a beast. You get all the flexibility and media support that you would need for a long long time - all you need to know is how to flash and test the latest ROMs

- $$aving$$
