i&#39;ll throw in my several cents on the comments made on php. when you are driving on an unmarked road, you keep in mind where the lane/lines should be. a bad driver goes all over the place and then says &quot;wt*! this road is not even marked&quot;. of course, comparing php with an unmarked road is a bit incorrect, but most of its critics (especially the ones who incessantly raise that point) <br>

<br>do not appreciate that<br><br>#1. it was made primarily for the web<br>#2. the original creator of php never intended it to be any of the things it is criticised for. he has clarified this in a humorous article which should be in the archives.<br>
