This used to happen in the 90's - it was possible to pick signals from next door neighbours.

However, based on physics; it is not possible to pick it from the incoming frequency on the dish (frequency, beam, etc). The possible ways this would have been happening was retransmission from the decoders or from the subscriber (knowingly or not).

IMHO, it happened; the contention here is point aerial towards the dish - not possible unless it is a retransmission from subscriber.

For some reason this happens. I remember sometimes back I could watch
whatever the next door neighbour was watching on DSTV though with alot
of "rain" and un-audible sound.
