IMO 1. Competition - There must be more termination service providers in China, India than Tanzania 2. Exposure - There is more communication infrastructure in the mentioned countries 3. ROI - There is more in terms business returns (profits) when calling the mentioned countries despite the assumed low cost. I believe there are more reasons someone can add. I noticed that calling Tanzania from safaricom is 18 per minute and from Zain is Kshs. 20 per minute. Any reason for such high rates when China, India is 3/-
