my view : It's now 5 plus hours since seacom launched. Even packets travelling 44,000kms would have arrived eons ago. The packet from mombasa to nairobi is in danger of becoming a million years old fossil. I'm starting to put 2 and 2 together. Lets see, *gateway to the rest of the world is at mombasa* *while 10 metres from termination station, kenyan networks never changed.* Unbelieveable what I've comeup with. Okay, I give up on ever asking this question again. Poor Seacom : official launch, dodged pirates, bullets, sunk expensive cable etc and* ...........................................................nothing*. I checked both edge services, none are on Seacom yet. Anyone checked safcom? Or for that matter has any ISP done the move. From a network world, this is a major disappointment. ( This is delayed network justice, how long does it take a packet to travel from mombasa to nairobi ).
