@Martin, What Mark is saying is that Apple actually doesn't really sell a product, but rather a lifestyle. And the iPhone is just a small part of that lifestyle Apple sells. If you call it brainwash, so be it. Actually most iPhone users don't even care about the features and specs, and Apple hardly dwells on it. For all they care, the phone can have a slower processor than competitors but the overall experience is still better. Apple sells coolness.
