well with number portability I believe will have the flexibility to switch from one net work to another depending on what tariff impresses you most,currently you either have dual sim card or two phones.For instance with such an offer with ZAIN all would have switched to zain by now without going MTEJA on their original network benefiting on zain on (MO). so am still convinced its too bad for safcon.actually its game shot.

I can assure you where safcom has guys by the noose is not really number portability or data services (internet/vpn etc), but the financial services - mpesa/mkesho etc.

Whoever comes up with cross-network money transfer might just have blown an EMP in the skies over Nairobi...at least in safcom's view :)
