Am using Zimbra on a server which works well on my main domain. I have other domains where secondary preferred pref points to this server. What I want to achieve is, the main server to be queueing mails for other domains if the first preferred server is down or unreachable. Zimbra works together with postfix. Linux Guru`s pls assist.
Not guru but do the following - GUI will lead you int he same direction; [note the config file may change] - E&OE under the /etc/postfix/main.cf relay_domains = abc.com, edf.com, ede.co.ke, add_your_relay_domain _here () then add this line to the same file transport_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/transport Then edit /etc/postfix/transport and add this line at the botton example.com : w.x.y.z (replace with primary mx server ip/hostname) finally create/recreate transport database map file postmap /etc/postfix/transport Wilson.
