Thank you for the positive words on Uhasibu, it makes us very
happy ;-)
Allow me to explain a few things about Uhasibu & Bandwidth.
Uhasibu is build with the internet connections we have around here
in mind - it is definitely not a bandwidth constrained
application. Latency & reliability is much more important than
bandwidth for Uhasibu use.
For most actions Uhasibu require only that you transfer BYTES -
not even KBYTES. We make extensive use of both client & server
side caching, far future headers, 304 status codes, and heavily
optimized and compressed data transfers.
We recently did an end to end test, we worked with the system for
two hours and did "normal" bookkeeping activities (about 50
transactions). This was done on a 3g bundle paid connection, we
checked the bundle balance before we started and after.
The result - we had used 1.5 megabyte of data on our bundle.
One of the design goals is that any page/response in the system
can load in less than 5seconds using a 28k8 modem - and except for
a few special cases which we are still working on this has been
achieved.

As for the company in question, with one head-office and 4
branches, all requiring their own set of books but requiring a
consolidated set of books in the end. Uhasibu might not be the
best solution, as it is focused on companies with a simpler
company structure.

Adam,
Uhasibu is such a good cloud platform. It would even be
better if we were not constrained for by bandwidth. Some small
businesses don't have stable internet connection. But uhasibu
is the future
