I have used the app n its actually pretty neat. Its basically has 2 features that work exactly like SMS2Email and Google's Gtalk SMS. Last time I used it costs were Kshs 1.50 per SMS.

If the cost is as you mention, it makes sense for those travelling
outside data coverage areas. The last I heard, even Loki is covered by
Safaricom Edge. Then there is the issue of screen size and memory
limitations on not so smart handsets?  What target market is the app
seeking?  A value added service for the business sector or the general
kenyan public?

If anyone has used the app, pls update on costs.
