I would rate Access Kenya’s customer service as slightly better than Safaricom’s in terms of turn-around time and also because you can give a call and hold as the techie is addressing your issue (in most cases). Their costs are almost the same and if you are coming from one to the other you will always get a better price. I never thought we would get here but all ISPs are now stable, you will go for weeks without a downtime. Since we expect your Safaricom link is very stable, I would go with a cheap link like Zuku for backup. Certainly it’s worth giving it a try since installation and charges are really decent if their fiber is nearby. For 20mbps at 10K, you can test it for a month or 2. JTL would be a good option as well for the price point.
