I look at internship as an opportunity to also show your learning skills to a potential employer. I have had to call two interns back for employment since they showed a total willingness to learn through the hardship times, by even creating positions for them which never existed. Advise to interns, take whatever you are given, even if it is zero, for you have no idea what impressions you will leave behind. By giving you an opportunity to work for them and gaining experience which most employers look for and will pay good cash for it.
