
You have two separately advertised blocks from each provider. That takes of your inbound/outbound traffic. Since all the device is doing is checking for connectivity to an external host and switching to different link, you can use any vendor of your choice with support for failover. BGP is excellent for big corporate networks and service providers but an office that just needs an redundant link I think is too much hassle. If you don't mind using two sets of ip's you can easily do this with cisco ip sla. Good thing is you don't have to involve the providers at all.
This give you control over how traffic leaves your network - what about inbound. Remember the only way one can have full control over both inbound and outbound traffic is BGP. Secondly you want vendor neutral technology. Vendor specific features often work well but are limited to ones own network. my 2 cents. Michuki.
