A few ground rules to make this whole process fun:
- As will hopefully become clear in a moment, there are many critical non-programming areas in this project. No one should feel excluded in any way.
- If you want to participate, and I hope you do, then there should be a way for you to participate. If there is no obvious way, then create a way for you to participate.
- We're all here to learn and build each other up. You're good in this and I'm good in that, you have what I want and I have what you want. If we play this right, we all end up the better for it.
- No one gets put down for not knowing and asking.
- It isn't a crime to make a mistake, as long as we "fail fast" and learn from it even faster.
- There is not one *right* way for doing something, just different trade-offs involved in decision-making. I hope we'll be able to "think aloud" and try to justify the decisions we make. It isn't a choice between right and wrong, mostly it is a choice between "this consequence" and "that consequence".
This list is by no means complete, or unchangeable, just something to start us on this track.
