Mailman and mailing lists have their disadvantages and as the number grow, challenges increase and functionalities are limited. The other thing with mailing lists is that 80% of members are very quiet as they dont want to expose themselves so much. Thats why even if you call an Harambee in the list,not more than 40 will contribute unless it becomes compulsory to contribute to stay on the list which will also makes those who would rather stay away stay away.

So the best thing is that lets move forward. Skunkworks started as a mailing list. Lets more to a website and register as a Think Tank and you never know we might just be determining the direction of ICT in Kenya.
