However For a company whose portfolio of clients allegedly involves fortune 500 companies, they have done a shoddy job of it (ie. Paywall implementation) and thus content to the link is publicly available and as thus, public domain. Liabilty of loss from NMG's standpoint if and when this comes to their attention would rest with Real View Technology for not offering what they promised in their contractual agreement. Sadly, it took me the the better part of 15 minutes to resolve why i was getting a "404 Error" whilst trying to download today's ePaper. A minor oversight of the date's suffix on the download link thus having the date parsed as "21th" instead of "21st". "Garbage In - Garbage Out" indeed.
I've decided a small bash script is in order. One that: -
a) Looks up the machine's current day/month/year and stores them in variables. b) Appends the correct suffix/ (i.e 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc) to the respective day's date. c) Passes the variables in the URL, automatically downloading the ePaper via 'wget' command.
In case you are on Linux/OSX and prefer to skip the daily URL edit ritual, feel free to download it. i. Make it executable. ~$ chmod +x daily ii. Run it via terminal. ~$ ./daily
