I doubt whether the problem is solely the type of browser you are using, may be something is eating into your system. If you had Mozilla before and worked stably then suddenly crash crash...*5 something is wrong reinstall and same issue something is  not right. If woulds suggest I would say check you problem and diagnose it before it crawls out of hand or may be you are right it is the browser failing, but what if it is not.
