Hi Sir, You ought to note that Dynagen GNS3 only supports the following "As of Dynamips 0.2.8-RC1 and Dynagen 0.10.0 1700, 2600, 3600, 3700, and 7200 routers are emulated." But you could try if you have an 1841 image no guarantees though. The other option is to give more details on what you are trying to achieve on the 1841 - if you want to do the Voice modules i think the 1700 can also do that. You will however be limited to the kind of modules you can add on Dynagen/GNS3 as well. So see its feature lists. Regards, Michuki. aki wrote:

Hey guys,
I am looking for simulation software for the subject router. I wish to test an IOS file on a virtual router before making a purchase. Is there such a thing as that? Kind of like a VM equivalent of a router? On google, all I see is Boson and such things... Cisco Cert. Labs etc, which I think are not fully-fledged simulators.
Kindly help. Thanks.
Me.
Hey Simon, this info maybe outdated as have not used a cisco in years, try Cisco Config Maker. Though I never used the IOS stuff on it, it may have the facility with the IOS version.
Its a long shot.... :-)
