
You know with these small Telcoms in places like Rwanda, they can have the luxury of rolling out any new technology they wish. If they want to roll out 4G, they just buy a few new switches and setup 2 or 3 base stations and there they go. I don't see the big news here, seems it is just a South African way of blowing trumpets for South Africa companies. Ever wonder why it takes large networks like Verizon, AT&T and to some extent to Safaricom to roll out new networks? It is a massive exercise. In Rwanda, it is child's play.
