
At some point, I heard Safaricom were testing "4G" in Thika too. Have you tried it by any chance? Or was it "Thika Road"?? For Orange matters, you can actually try one of two things: 1. Deinstall the modem/software and reinstall. I am serious!!! 2. Wanted to ask if anyone else is experiencing a problematic connection on the Orange modem. Also if there's anyone from Orange on list who can assist, much appreciated.
I'm using an Orange connection in Thika. For the last week or so, the modem connect okay but I get 0kpbs download speed. At best, sometimes I get an intermittent download (0kpbs - 20kpbs), very unstable. Upload speeds seem okay/normal.
Have Orange customer service, despite all their help, problem persists. Also tried using a different Orange and Line modem, experienced same problem.
