Well, people are gonna use it to start generating money / gold /
weapons. I think world hunger will come last.
Reminds me of 'Prison Break's' Scylla - some very good technology - but people try to fill their artillery and treasury first before solving humanity issues...
@Rahim
I have always been thinking for sometime about 'nanobots' [aka nanites, nano-technology] - if normal drugs cant cure viral diseases like HIV - then why not the engineers try it ?
With nanites, you can populate and program them to hunt and destroy - and given a few months - someone will be completely 'fixed'.
I dont know how they will be powered , mabbe fuel cells that are fed with water to produce hydrogen and oxygen internally?
Still far fetched as we speak, because it falls in the realm of quatum computing [and they still havent figured out how to stabilize an electron movement in an atom to make it follow a straight repetitive non decaying path to represent 0s and 1s]
- but why not ?
[of course I want to discount all those evil theories revolving around letting an intelligent nanoscopic antigen into your body - and we can also avoid to use them to create superhuman strenghts for war purposes - so we can focus on the positive right?]
