Guys, Heres a quick one. I have a router I need to Configure[My First one]. A Cisco 800 Series. How do I connect and Configure it with my Laptop considering the laptop does not have a COM port.
Either: 1. Get a USB to Serial adapter for your laptop or 2. Do initial setup from a PC which has a COM port, enable the LAN and give it IP address, enable telnet and set passwords, telnet in to the router. BR, S
