I had Zuku 1Mbps symmetric on WiMAX and it just could not perform as expected, both for Voice and Internet. I prayed they could put me on fiber but it appeared as not easy for them, even though their fiber was only 1km down the road. Cost was quite affordable but working with it was pain.

I went for Safaricom WiMAX (1/2 the capacity of Zuku's but 2x Zuku price) but it works great.

I have an issue with Safaricom WiMAX support though. They are quite responsive and great when you reach them. However, there are times you are in trouble and you call them, only to find their contact number ending on the Safaricom IVR!!

Anyway, good for you Zuku customers who are on fiber. One day when they can connect me on fiber, I will move to them again. I have no loyalty to any provider. My loyalty only lasts as long as the link works to meet my requirements.
