Oops, my bad, I run it on Leopard (10.5.6) and NOT on Snow Leopard (10.6) - Must have read it wrongly. There's still no OSX86 release for Snow leopard so I havent tried to upgrade, but on Leopard, it works like a gem - The Fink version kept crashing on startup but when I found the .dmg all my problems were solved.
