I gave the solution for a UPS for the simple reason that you just said backup power, and I assumed that youre not placing all those nodes at the same point (wouldnt make sense). and that since you are looking for [backup] power, you have primary power supply. If you do not have primary power to begin with, solar powered is your best bet. Best thing though, have an energy audit done prior to signing LPOS... Then perhaps s/he can multiply the power consumption of each unit by 140 times the number of hours s/he foresees keeping them up on backup. Is it called power factor or something? Areba can tell better, although I see he's already given you the solution - a 600VA UPS for each! I think a 600VA UPS can keep one nanostation running for approximately 30 minutes???? I am not sure, but I'd love to test it if I were you.
