I think this is a huge unexploited mine of gold if one really puts his mind and energy into it. There are a lot of serious hard core gamers out there. The challenge is to make it worthwhile for the gamer to get involved.
These guys tend to spend large amounts of time playing games, often in the excess of two or three hours a day. They'll sometimes often seek out obscure and older games, based on word of mouth or positive critical reception. Hardcore gamers put good gameplay above all else, and don't mind if a good game has poor (or even nonexistent) graphics, sound, characters and plot. (I know I would :-D )
Currently in Nairobi, I can't say this has really been exploited, and if one really decides to go for it, who knows ...
When I say big I don't mean merely 5 or 10 consoles. Think of 30 and above in a good location within the CBD.
Any takers ???
