The same way the male body needs traces of Oestrogen and females' have Testosterone as well. This kind of symmetry (delicate balance) is critical for the physical well-being of an average human being ...... I guess. 

More of these forms exist abundantly in nature, top / bottom, right / wrong, Yin / Yang, theistic / atheistic (agnostic?), different / indifferent, love / fear, charm (beauty) / strange, weak / strong, real / ideal, gravity / electromagnetism and so forth.
