Crosscall/SMS can happen. In CDMA maybe not so much, in gsm definitely. Out of curiosity were you on 3G or just good old 2g when this happened? Around which area? Might as well help them solve the problem as we 'rant'.

screen delay, eg where you type pet, it shows Peter, then you type r it takes time to bring up Petro, you hit select, and the meesage goes to petro and not to peter
