Guys,

As far as am concerned, degrees these days mean nothing... its become something that everyone has. There is a time when having a degree was precious, now everyone has one, so its your intelligence and you capacity that takes you where you go.

I have NEVER at any one time presented my papers to anyone, I have worked and sat on the same table with and for very high profile people including Tanzania's president Jakaya Kikwete.

I have worked high profile jobs too, including my current one and still, NEVER presented my papers anywhere.

To confirm Imelda's statement, I saw that on a documentary on TV sometime back, where high school students are hired as interns to work in their various branches and have 'first hand' application of the banking sector.

Although I'm not sure how that led to a breakdown of services the whole day, well, unless one of the students stepped on a live wire!
