7. Can be a defective RAM chip, did u upgrade RAM recently?
8. Can be a nasty virus
9. ETC.....vitu nyingi sana!!
Eliminate potential causes, e.g.
i. Open casing and confirm processor fan is spinning ok (if u cant see the blades, its fast enough)
ii. Check Device Manager to see if any drivers are labelled as not working properly
iii. Remove any new RAM chip, if you've upgraded recently
iv. Update your antivirus and scan, scan, scan!
v. Confirm if the restart is user initiated i.e. caused by something the user did; start the PC and leave it alone, see if it restarts by itself.
vi. ETC
can be many things ..... causing it to restart. you can
- check the log tables to see what caused the restarts
- check to see if the processor fun is fixed well.
- listen to the beep codes when it starts how many beeps it makes.
- can be corrupt drivers
- can be a loose Hardisk
- can be a loose RAM
- ETC.....vitu nyingi sana!!
