McDee, What are you y'all talking about? Project management is a serious discipline and a career like any other I work for a Telco and over and above PMI/PMP we have three additional internal certifications based on actual project experience. Everything every organization does is a project and this is a formalized discipline from Banking, to Insurance to Manufacturing. Here's my recommendation, instead of doing the certification first, get a PM job and do the certification and not the other way round. This is not Cisco or MCSE, you have to have hands on experience. Look for a preparation center preferably in Dubai/SA for the weeks running to the exam and pay for it. My thoughts Kiania D. @All,
What are the possibilities of getting a project job once I attain this kind of certification? Bearing in mind am just a fresh graduate.
