I'm assuming that you just joined the forum :). But just before you send mail asking for de-listing.....[?][?] MNP = Mobile Number Portability. Simply put, I'll use an example: Say you are an Orange subscriber (Number: *077*0123456) but you wish to migrate to the Yu network ( Commonly known by the number prefix *075* XXXXXXX). You can still move to Yu and retain your original number (0770123456) which looks exactly like an orange number even after the migration. The major advantage is that you don't have to get a new number, thus saving you the inconvenience of informing your contacts about this change. You will however get a replacement SIM card from Yu. For more, consult: http://www.cck.go.ke/number_portablity/index.html Otherwise, the MNP topic has been exhaustively discussed here. Check the archives.
