hello guys ,
need help/ideas on a certain scenario that is proving a hard nut to crack .
have a remote site that co-exists with fm and tv stations . it consists of a wireless p2p link a switch and several access points .
now what happens is that the wireless link does not go down but its ethernet equivalent that connects to the switch goes down on occasion only to come up without any intervention .
some googling hinted at firmware issues - upgraded downgraded no diff . cabling issues - laid fresh cables shielded earthed - no diff . interference - that fm stations and ethernet share the same freq but could not get anything concrete here . contacted the vendor of the devices in use and they have gone quiet .
is there anybody who has experienced such and is there any workaround apart from the obvious - moving the site to an alternate location
thank you
