
+1 to Phillip You can add Amazon to your list of companies that did not 'stick to their core business' i.e selling books! They ventured out and became giants among cloud service providers! Safaricom could have done the same with Mpesa and even licence other MNOs to use their platform - spin out Mpesa and let it be a company on it's own?
