So it's not just me. After complaining, with the ping results as proof of packet losses, I was told to clear my browsing cache.
It was good while it lasted though.

I had serious packet loss and degraded services. I decided to call up their customer care and they decided to insult my intelligence by saying it's slow coz I may have added more devices or users to my network!
